At Mack & Conway, we’ve established a record of success in helping our clients achieve their business and lifestyle goals. We have the resources and professional ability to help your business develop sound financial procedures, limit tax liability and exposure, objectively analyze key business and financial information and recommend strategies to enhance profitability, and plan exit strategies to meet your financial and lifestyle needs.

The two principals of the firm, Charles R. Mack, CPA and Raymond F. Conway, CPA, are experienced tax, financial and business consultants. They share responsibilities for day-to-day management of the firm. Both are Certified Public Accountants licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, and both participate in ongoing educational programs to enhance their skills. Additionally, the two principals both have experience in business management positions.

Mr. Mack holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Governors State University, University Park, IL, and completed additional accounting studies at Lewis University, Romeoville, IL. He operated several entrepreneurial businesses and served as corporate controller for a manufacturing company before starting a CPA practice in Calumet City, IL in 1986. Mack & Conway, Ltd., was established in 1989. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society.

Mr. Conway holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Loras College, Dubuque, IA. After completing his degree, he spent five years in public accounting. Prior to his affiliation with Mack & Conway, Ltd., he spent over six years working for troubled banks in senior management positions, including chief financial officer, treasurer and president. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA society.
